Our heroes left lessons and examples as they fought and risked our lives for our freedom. They show that love of homeland and of one's own race is the greatest form of love. Jose Rizal, Marcelo H. del Pilar, Marciano Lopez-Jaena and other propagandists fought for our country using a stylus and paper with their literary creations filled gritty, honesty and warm integrity while Lapu-Lapu, Sultan Kudarat, Diego Silang, Emilio Aguinaldo, Gregorio del Pilar and the Katipuneras used their own strength in fighting for our independence. We can see in our heroes their desire to get rid from the invaders though they differ in their methods of fighting, their sole purpose is to make our country independent.
To all of our heroes, thank you so much for your dedication to our great nation. Thank you for showing us how to truly love our homeland. Thank you for fighting hard for our independence.
